Glassqueenz is a solo woman-owned glass art business rooted in the Hudson Valley, born from a dream to build something of my own after graduating college. What began as a vision for an independent creative life has grown into a practice of handcrafting one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate the beauty of imperfection, and the courage to do things differently. Every piece carries a little bit of the hands, heart, and persistence behind it.
Meet the woman behind the glass.

Artist bio
Zeinab Manesh is an Iranian Kurdish glass artist based in the Hudson Valley, New York. She received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, where she developed an interdisciplinary practice spanning hot glass, installation, and performance.
Informed by her experience growing up in the Iranian diaspora, her work draws on Persian and Kurdish ornamentation to explore how cultural knowledge and memory are carried across generations. Through glass, Manesh examines displacement, belonging, and the histories embedded in everyday traditions, reframing ornament as a record of resistance and survival.
