This glass-cast piece, laid atop traditional Iranian carpet motifs, serves as a visual and conceptual exploration of borders, questioning their meanings and forms. The fusion of glass and intricate patterns invites viewers to consider the interplay between solidity and fluidity, challenging the fixed notions we often associate with borders. Themes of immigration, displacement, and belonging are deeply woven into my work.
